Paul Hartnett, Coordinating Council member, leads the celebration at the opening of the new Learning Community Center of South Omaha. How can we ensure that children challenged by poverty succeed? With new and locally proven practices and programs, the Learning Community is helping parents make a difference in their children's education; supporting families of children struggling academically and improving student achievement. With the strength of 11 school districts and committed community partners, we're sharing what works for the benefit of children in Douglas and Sarpy counties.
