Achievement Track

Elementary Program Results 2011-2012

Our Achievement Track elementary programs have hit their stride. The Learning Community is improving student achievement for nearly 7,000 students. By leveraging the strength of our community partners, every dollar from the
$4.8 million elementary levy goes to programs targeting students with the greatest academic needs. With a narrow academic focus, shared measures of success and common goals, students are making substantial gains, and the majority of those kids are from families struggling with poverty or lower-incomes. The results are clear and growing — Nebraska’s children in poverty can succeed in academic programs tailored to meet their needs.

Independent Evaluation & Results

With rigorous evaluation from the team at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute, our programs have moved into the desired target range for helping students at the greatest risk academically. Our continuous improvement process gives teachers the realtime feedback they need to help students make big gains.
