Join us in congratulating Jawahir Engalow, a mother of four, who joined Parent University as a participant in 2018 to learn English so she could communicate with her children’s teachers.
In the fall of 2022, during her monthly visit with her Educational Navigator, Jawahir expressed a goal of passing the U.S. Citizenship Test.
With the help of her ESL instructor and her navigator, Jawahir was able to pass her test within six weeks of setting the goal and is on her way to becoming a U.S. citizen.
Congratulations to Jawahir and the Parent University team on this exciting accomplishment.
