If you want to change the world, one patient at a time, we’d love you to consider joining our team.

OneWorld operates the Learning Community Center of South Omaha. The LCC offers a parent and child education program to families in eleven high-poverty elementary schools in South Omaha. We teach the parents essential skills to help their children succeed in elementary school. Our center and its satellite locations allow us to assist over 250 families in the community. Classes include parenting workshops, English courses, and computer training. Child care is provided on-site during the hours that the parents are in class. The Learning Community Center is nationally recognized; we earned a White House honor as a Bright Spot in Hispanic Education.

We are looking for a bilingual Program Assistant to work at the Learning Community Center of South Omaha (LCCSO.)  This Program Assistant will act as an ambassador for the LCCSO, greeting and assisting all visitors to the center, answering incoming phone calls, and providing excellent customer service.  They will screen walk-ins for eligibility in the program and place them on the waiting list as needed.  They will perform administrative functions like translating written documents from English to Spanish and ordering supplies and refreshments for classes and departmental meetings.  The Program Assistant will also drive the company minibus to transport community participants to and from the center for classes.  In addition, the Program Assistant will serve as a backup in our childcare area.

This is a full-time position located in South Omaha (23rd & M.)   The schedule will be Monday-Friday, generally 8am-5pm.  There will be occasional evenings to attend special events at the center.

To ensure the safety of our patients, employees, and communities, OneWorld Community Health Centers is requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective November 15th, 2021. Exemptions may be granted for religious or medical accommodations.
