Colette is originally from Grand Island, NE. With over 30 years of experience supporting executive leaders in both profit and non-profit environments, Colette brings valuable expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master Degree in Public Administration. Having been a single mother and living on food stamps she became passionate about equal education opportunities and being able to grow through education and self-esteem.
She is excited to work with the Learning Community. Colette feels that all children, no matter where they live, or income level should be given the same opportunities as those who come from higher income levels. The Learning Community might just be the start of education for the doctor that cures cancer, or the next Bill Gates. To be part of that is a true accomplishment.
Outside of work, she enjoys riding motorcycles, skydiving, and zip-lining, and she cherishes her expanded family, including 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
