Andrew is originally from Plainview, NE. He grew up on a family-run corn and soybean farm learning the value of hard work and fiscal responsibility. Andrew started his career working in Agriculture banking honing his analysis skills. He eventually transitioned to State of Nebraska Government Finance. Andrew spent time learning about government budgets and financial reporting; eventually moving into leadership roles regarding Financial Operations, Auditing, Billing, and Data Governance. He has a passion for financial efficiency and investing in evidence-based social programs that empower individuals to grow and achieve success. At the Learning Community, Andrew is committed to transparency and continuous quality improvement for programs and taxpayer dollars.
Andrew is a father to two sons, an amazing wife, a little dog, and a couple of leopard geckos. He enjoys spending time with family, coaching youth sports, and gardening.
