The Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties has appointed Amy Scott to fill its Coordinating Council Achievement Subcouncil 4 vacancy.

Scott is an active volunteer in the Millard Public Schools district where her children attend, and she presides as the president of her homeowner’s association. Scott brings a project management background to her seat on the council. She says, “I want all children to be successful scholars. I know it starts with a strong foundation at the youngest ages.”

She will represent the Elkhorn, Gretna, and Millard school districts in Achievement Subcouncil 4.
